Chicken Cutlet / Burger Patty

Ingredients

Boiled chicken (shredded) – 2 cups

Boiled potato (mashed) – 1 cup

Green chillies – 5 to 7 (finely chopped)

Coriander leaves (chopped) – 1/4 cup

Red chilli powder – 1 tsp

Garlic and ginger paste – 1 tsp

Onion (diced) – 1 cup

Garam masala – 1/2 tsp

Salt – to taste

A pinch of sugar

Eggs – 3

Bread crumbs – 1/4 cup

Oil – 2 cups (for deep frying)
Method

In a pan, fry the diced onion along with the garlic-ginger paste until the onion becomes translucent.

In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mashed potato, green chillies, coriander leaves, red chilli powder, garam masala, salt, sugar, and the sautéed onion mixture.

Add 1 egg to this mixture and mix thoroughly.

Beat the remaining 2 eggs in a separate bowl and set aside.

Shape the mixture into cutlets or patties.

Dip each cutlet first into the beaten egg, then coat with bread crumbs.

Deep-fry the cutlets in hot oil until golden brown and crispy.

Serve hot with tomato ketchup or sandwich them in burger buns for a delicious treat.
