Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs

  • 240 g Nutella


Method

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a 20 cm round spring-form cake pan with baking paper and set aside.

Step 2: Place the eggs in a mixing bowl and beat on high speed until the mixture triples in volume. This will take 5–7 minutes.

Step 3: Spoon the Nutella into a medium glass bowl and microwave for 15–20 seconds, until softened.

Step 4: Add one-third of the egg mixture to the Nutella and gently fold with a metal spoon until well combined. Repeat with the remaining egg mixture in two batches, folding gently each time until fully incorporated.

Step 5: Spoon the mixture into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean.

Step 6: Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan before removing. Slice and serve.
