Whole Wheat Chocolate Cake
Easy Homemade Chocolate Cake Recipe | Soft & Fudgy Whole Wheat Cake
Ingredients

Butter – 100 g

Cocoa Powder – ¼ cup

Sugar – 1 cup

Whole Wheat Flour – 1½ cups

Baking Powder – 1 tsp

Baking Soda – ½ tsp

Milk – 1 cup

Curd (Yogurt) – ½ cup

Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp

Eggs – 2
Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a baking tin and set aside.

Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and beat well.

Sift together the cocoa powder and whole wheat flour. Gradually fold this into the batter.

Add the vanilla essence, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix gently.

Stir in the milk and curd, and mix until the batter is smooth and well combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking tin.

Bake at 180°C for 25–30 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean (or slightly fudgy, if preferred).
Allow to cool before serving.
