Family Falooda: Box Play

Discover the Story Box game—a creative and engaging family activity that encourages imagination, storytelling, laughter, and meaningful conversations. Perfect for family time and group bonding.

Family Falooda: Box Play

Step 1

Take a nice-looking box or decorate a small cardboard box. Collect a bunch of cards, chart paper cutouts, or any thick card strips that will fit into the box.

Step 2

Write a few lines on each card, such as:

  • The king jumped into his racing car.

  • The horse flew straight over the clock tower.

  • The car decided, “From now on, I am sitting at the table, and I want my own napkin.”

Once the cards are written, you are ready to start the game.

Step 3

Sit comfortably in a circle and pass the box around. Each person picks a card and tells a story starting with the situation written on it. Everyone listens attentively to each other’s stories.

The stories can be dramatic, humorous, short, long, fun, or meaningful. Each person is free to decide what their story is about, without any interference from others. Let your creative side come alive!

You can continue adding more cards to the box as new ideas emerge. Keep the box safe so it can be used again another day. The Story Box encourages conversation and laughter, helping to knit the family closer together.
